Creole Pearly-Eye (Enodia creola)
The rarest of the three pearlyeyes. The antennal clubs of mostly black which differentiates Creoles from Southern Pearly-eyes with whom they often associate. They can be told from Northern Pearly-eyes by the five(not four) eyespot's on the forewing and by the inward bulging of the median line below the forewing eyespot's giving the appearance of "knuckles". Host plant is switch cane.
