Clouded Sulphur (Colias philodice)
Very similar to the more common Orange Sulfa. Clouded Sulfa never show any orange coloration.
Photographed 8/06/2004 Floyd Co. Georgia
Interesting bug that superficially resembles a dogface but note the lack of a pointed forewing tip. Seen 10/11/2005 at Arrowhead WMA in Floyd Co., Ga. Dr. James Adams has reviewed this photo and believes it is a whitish female which cannot be safely separated from Orange Sulfphur for identification purposes.
