Florida Butterflies
I have taken several trips to our neighboring a state specifically to look for Florida specialities, ie species endemic to Florida or those which occur elsewhere but may be more easily seen there. Many more species were seen than photographed and not all of the photographs represent Florida specialities as defined above. Local knowledge is an invaluable commodity and was graciously supplied by Linda and Buck Cooper. Success in locating many of these butterflies, given the time spent, would not have been possible without the help of these friends.
