West Virginia White (Pieris virginiensis)
A single brood in spring-April-May. Found in or near woodlands where toothwart its larval foodplant grows. These were photographed at Black's Bluff Perserve Floyd Co. Ga. on 4/11/2005.
Note the white upperwing with no black spots and the softly gray lined veins below.
