White M Hairstreak (Parrhasius m-album)

This large hairstreak has multiple broods but is only seen occasionally in NW Georgia-primarily during the spring.  Note the isolated white spot near the leading edge of the hindwing and the red spot which is set inward from the hindwing margin.
