Wild Indigo Duskywing (Erynnis baptisiae)
This small duskywing can be tricky to identify. Note the lack of a white dot at the end of the forewing cell, dark coloration of the basal forewing and the double row of white spots on the ventral hindwing. Also the habitat where it is found and its association with its larval hostplant either Crown Vetch or Wild Indigo can provide important clues.
